Test of Windows Live Blog-Writer

I return! I'm getting excited - the domain, waiting to be filled with the new-look blog is awaiting! - soon to be housed at BloggingAllTheWay.com :-)

But that is an aside. I want to make my life easier - we all do, especially in the blogging arenas (anything to faciliate more frequent postings!). There are many tools to achieve this, and I will be reviewing more of them for you from now (not just in the blogging area, but also in the social media and related areas), especially good-quality free tools and resources.

This includes Blog Editors.

Some time ago, I tested the online Scribefire Blog Editor. Today, I am testing the Windows Live Blog Editor, and publishing it to this blog - the correct place! Let's see how it turns out!

(The reviews on the Scribefire Editor should actually have been posted here, given that my other blog is a Self Help Blog! So I will eventually move them over here, along with another post- duh Megan! :-)

Anyway, presenting the ...

'Windows Live Writer'

Windows Live Writer is a free Blog-Editor installed on my PC and is compatible with both XP (service pack 2) and Vista O/S (sorry Mac users!). It can also be used in conjunction with your 'Windows Live Spaces and Blog' - but more on this space later, its great and more people should use it!

Rather than writing two horrendously long and boring posts, like I did when testing the online 'Scribefire Blog Editor' on my self help blog, we shall try to have a look at the key features in one post! (with a final recommendation at the end).

I could also review all the benefits of using such software, but will leave that to your smart neurons! :-)

BTW - you can insert graphics from your desktop or a URL, wrap text to the left, right, or top/above graphics/images, resize images, add borders, margins, and more!

As stated on the Windows Live Writer page - "You can even pull your photos together into an album—just select the style you want and Writer takes care of the rest. When you publish, Writer automatically saves your picture or album online and links them to your blog".

Other Features:

Windows Live Writer has most of the key features we need and more, including - the above quick tests - and in no particular order -

Save and Publish - 'save as local draft' (although I am not exactly sure where it saves yet) - and -'publish' to your blog (we shall see what happens when we get there - eek!) :)
Set your publish date
Tags and categories
Print, print preview, etc
Trackbacks/pings
Formatting options: 'select all', format font, paragraph alignment, copy, paste, undo (yes, an 'undo' button, which is not in the ScribeFire Editor and resulted in me losing an article and 2 hours of work - thank you!!)
Paragraph settings and heading styles
Different view settings (eg preview, normal, web layout, html, etc)
Overall Blog Setup tools menu and General tools, such as 'spell check' (yahoo!), accounts and options
Split Post settings
Search option (find text)
View past posts on your blog and link to them (including a bookmark library)
Insert a table (with all the usual table settings/features)
.. and so much more.

You can also add even more features to Windows Live Writer with access to lots of Plugins (eg 112 results when I clicked on 'add a Plug-in' including, for example -

- 'Blog this for Firefox', 'Insert Video to blog entry'; 'Insert Files'; add 'Polarioid-Style Pictures'; 'Insert Code'; 'Insert Spaces Emoticon' and more

(I haven't tested these and assume they are for the desktop Live Writer, but they may also be for the Blog, when posting on Windows Live Spaces). Left Click Here for more info on the Plugins and Windows Live Spaces.

My Recommendation/Verdict:

As we can see above, Windows Live Writer has many of the basic features that one can expect from a blog-editor (and more!). Live Writer is also very intuitive and easy to use. I love the 'map' feature (and may just use this software to grab some maps as map images if I need them!).

Its also great because its a desktop application so I feel like I have more control. While there are benefits to using an online blog editor like Scribefire (including its cross-platform nature), I do get worried if/when my browser crashes!

Windows Live Writer does have some of the online editor features though, with the 'Blog This for Firefox Plugin', which looks exciting (and which I will test). As noted on the plugins page:

The "Blog This" Firefox button launch Windows Live Writer prepopulated with content from the current web page. Use it to quickly blog about interesting content you find while browsing the web.

How cool is that!

The other FANTASTIC FEATURE is the 'Web Preview'! I cannot say this enough, because this feature would have saved me a LOT of trouble when I used the Scribefire Editor, which does not have this feature (or an 'undo' button!). When in web preview, you can see your entire blog, and the layout of your new post including fonts, colors and images - all from within the software.

When I used the Scribefire blog editor, even though it is very handy with lots of great features - eg post online, whenever you want (including capturing the web page you are on) - it did stuff up the overall look of my blog and fonts, etc - so it may work better with other types of blogs. How I wish there was an 'undo' button and web preview feature BEFORE one publishes to blog!)

One point however - when in web-preview, Live Writer showed the wrong dates - this post showed up as June 2008 and the previous post as December 2007 I think (gee this blog needs some more attention!). This post also showed the 'labels/tags' I used for the previous post and not the ones I selected for this post (eg. reviews, videos, blog editors). Anyway, I hope that this problem isn't actually reflected when I actually publish this post. We shall see ...

Its also relatively easy to setup your blog on Windows Live Writer (add, edit, view weblog settings), but, and I say BUT, this is for blogs on blogger, wordpress, moveable type, etc - it is not as intuitive for blogs on your own domain. Or 'I' (as a techi-dummie), am not sure how the settings work for a self-hosted wordpress blog :-)

The outcome? We shall we what happens when I actually publish this (and you can see for yourself too). The main possible problems I can see for now, until I have tested this further, are the possible problems with the publishing dates and need for more technical know-how in setting it up for your own hosted blog. Hoping it works - the web preview suggests most of the features will!

So for now - with all the features, ease of use ...

Increasing Social Media and Web 2.0 Trends

I have become increasingly fascinated with social media and 'web 2.0' recently, even more so than when I added this element to this blog. So much has happened and so many new social media type sites have developed since this time, that it is almost overwhelming. It is certainly impossible to join them all and participate to the fullest extent.

As you may have noticed, I have not been here for quite some time, having focused on my Self Help blog and joining and learning more about the social web 2.0 world (I also have finished all my eye surgeries, teeth-work and being virtually 'rebuilt'! Hoping to go into full remission this year too, with new trial medication! - for those of you who are new here, you might want to read my profile, archived posts, or my other Self Help blog to learn a little more if that didn't make sense!).

I have focused on these other areas, plus my health, to the extent that I had almost forgotten what I had posted here, but upon my return, I find that there is some good information here (to be restructured soon and shortened!) and some great free resources, especially free memberships (the 'Goodies Basket' policy).

Thus, as noted in the side-bar, I hope to (no, I 'plan'/will!) be moving this site to a self-hosted wordpress blog this year, to provide more value, and for greater control over the content.

This is exciting because I have so much to tell you about this ever-changing internet world, especially in social media and in connecting with other like-minded people. Recommended Site Building Software & Free Downloads

Hi all :-)

Today I have two great software recommendations relating to web design for you, plus a few free Goodies in the Basket below.

And - soon to be revealed, will be changes to this Blog - a new look, some new add-ons, more consistent and regular postings, and more Freebies of course! Eventually, I will be moving to my own domain, so I will able to provide you with more value and direct links to my own products, which I can give, where I have the rights :-)

(I may have mentioned this before, but I am now really learning how to install and optimise Word Press Blogs - a learning curve, but worth it in the end I think!)

In relation to the above, I have two recommendations for you for paid products (software to help you design your websites to look fantastic!) - both are related to helping you build your website 'empire'! - and no, I can't forget the Free Goodies Basket below :-)

RECOMMENDATION 1: RAPID NICHE WEBSITES SOFTWARE

To help me achieve my Blog changes in the easiest way possible, I have discovered this great software - 'Rapid Niche Websites' - which allows you to optimise your own Blogs and make them look exactly how you want (from your desktop) - ie. you are not restricted to existing Blog Themes.

There is a great video on the sales page (and related Blog) to show you exactly how the included 'Rapid Niche Formatter' (for your Blogs) works. I am really looking forward to trying this because I can tailor my Blog into an interactive web 2.0 site, and exactly how I want it in terms of color schemes (see software recommendation below too), graphics, adding my own headers, links, categories, and plugins.

Plus you receive an extensive Guide, great training and support with 'how to' videos and tutorials, a forum, and more - all included.

Here is an extract from the webpage about what you can do, in addition to the extensive Guide, and themes/plugins (this is only part of what you receive) - remember, watch the video on the first webpage to see how the Rapid Niche Formatter works):

Because I am about to buy it, I cannot give you a review until later. However, there is a lot of information available for you to have a look at the main site and the related Blog - perhaps you would be interested.?

Yes, its a bit expensive if you are starting out, but imagine having the power to change the look and layout of your own Blog with easy software (no programming skills required!).

Importantly, in this 'new multimedia and blogging' era - Blogging is the way to go. In fact, many internet marketers are now using Blog Platforms as their main site, rather than traditional, static, html websites because they are so much easier to update and also, to interact with your readers.

Your feedback would also be greatly appreciated too if you decide to buy this software :-)

RECOMMENDATION 2: COLOR WHEEL PRO

Color Wheel Pro looks like a great program and there is a trial download to help you make your decision. When creating websites, colour is very important in attracting and maintaining your readers.

Graphics and website design also relates to a previous posting I made about a Free Membership on website design - 'Pixels to Profits' (this posting should still be on this page if you scroll right down - if not, try clicking here to access the page - the 'Pixels to Profits' is in the 'Goodies Basket' on that page).

The Color Wheel Pro site also has some valuable information about what different colours actually mean to viewers, which will help to keep your readers at your site depending on what you want to achieve with your website of course!.

So, what is Color Wheel Pro? Here is a small extract from the page:

Silo Structures in Your Resell Rights Business & Free Memberships

For example, you may have a website on the niche topic of 'careers'. But the reader/visitor of your website may only be interested in one aspect of careers, such as resume writing or interview techniques.

With this 'silo' concept, you would have your main 'portal' page on the broader niche topic of 'careers' (ie. an 'online' guide, which is monetised with a mimimum of 8 income streams such as adsense, other PPC engines, affiliate programs and products for sale).

The beauty of this approach is that the main portal page about careers would also have outgoing links to your 'silos' (or sub-niches), such as 'resume writing' or 'interview techniques', or 'online job searches' for example). Each of these silos (or sub-niches) also has its own fully monetised webpage (hence the receipt of 15 websites/month with this membership site).

This is apparently great for SEO and generating 'content authority' sites, whilst also cross-linking traffic to each of your sites. This is also a very simplistic explanation, and is best illustrated in a graphics format, which is included in a free ebook that you can download from the sales page (as far as I remember, a popup appears with a free ebook on this 'silo' approach, which provides a mind-map of the overall structure - its a short book, but great value and ideas).

So, for those of you venturing into, or expanding, your online business in resell rights and/or affiliate marketing, you might also be interested in this upsell to 'Niches In A Box' (not your 'typical' Resell Rights Membership this one).

Free Videos - To Start Your Business

Hi All! :-)

Well, it has been awhile since my last posting. Excuse? ummmmm ;-)

I actually did go blind enough to be unable to see what I was doing! Thus, eye surgery became a priority. Then I reacted rather severely and was very ill for some time (have one more surgery to go - eek).

I have been on and off the computer doing bits and pieces and am now going full 'roaring ahead'. Speed, action and really, after trying to catch up with my ideas after surgery(!) - moving forward with my ideas

SIDE NOTE: Although for some strange reason, all my 'new' computers/printers keep breaking down - overuse??!. So I find myself constantly trying to save data, the computer itself (or buy another one if I can!!) and its a slooooowwwww process and very boring I can say.

THUS:

Recommendation 1: If you are serious about starting an online business, buy the right equipment! If you can, buy the more expensive and powerful computer or printer, etc, so that you don't run into the problems I am having.

Buy 'storage' and RAM and processing speed! In the longer term it works out to be cheaper. I am on my 4th computer now! I bought cheaper ones within my budget (perhaps I wasn't at the time, really sure about how determined I was about online work??). If I had bought a more expensive, powerful computer, I would have saved a lot of time and money.

Recommendation 2: Create a 'Records Management Policy and Procedures System' UPFRONT, so you don't overload your computer with repeat files and 'clog' the system up. This goes for both computer records and paper/hard-copy records.

Give all of your 'products/inventory' for resell, etc - an Identification Number and record them. Now I have literally Gigabytes of resell products - and its going to take a long time to backtrack to inventory them all for my records.

PLAN AHEAD!!! Hmmmm - perhaps I will write a short report on my lessons here for you?? :-)

There is some good software out there to help you to keep electronic records of your resell products - eg 'Librarian' which is created by Neil T.

- his site is a fantastic resource if you are also interested in creating your own ebooks - so you will have fun there (he also offers webhosting just for book creators and publishers and has a page full of freebies too!). Left Click Here to access his site.

- and you can upgrade to a specialised 'resell and affiliate version' of 'Librarian' for a very small price (trial downloads now avaiable) and by doing so, you can have the free version 'branded' in your website name to giveaway as a viral product.

I think you could also use the software to enter your software info-products I would assume ..... and other more professional/expensive records keeping systems like MYOB (Money In A Box - to also keep record of sales, balances, etc).

SO NOTE - Get it right in the beginning (I wish someone had taught me how important this was in the beginning!).

ANOTHER SITE NOTE: I think I have mentioned this before, but one of the best things you can do when starting an online business, is to meet like-minded people online and to develop a friendship.

- eventually this can end up to be quite lucrative, not only in having a great friend, but also in terms of joint ventures and helping each other in promoting and building our online businesses!!!

This may give a hint, but this Blog-site is not only about helping you succeed online in the Resell Rights Business and Web2 Marketing, it is also a form of Journal, so that you can see my own progress online; learn from my mistakes; and benefit from the resources I discover along the way!

But before we get to the Goodies - if you can wait (if not, then just skim right on down!!)? ....I am suffering from 'after the Dentist shock syndrome' at the moment - my poor teeth - can you relate?! So, I am leaving the 'real' world behind for a day, and focusing my attention here, for you.

I am also setting up a proper home office, now that I have lost my 'day job' (or been 'retired' due to my illness), which is partly the reason I have been away for a little while (its nice to be away for this reason and not because of being in hospital for a change!)

And please do excuse any errors on this page, as my eyesite is getting worse, and working on a bright computer screen for hours on end, makes it difficult, if not impossible sometimes, to actually see the screen and what I am writing (fortunately I am a trained 'touch-typer'). Eye surgery in 2 weeks - eek! Wish me luck??

But, as I have said before, either here or on my other site, as long as we live in the 'now' and don't focus on ALL of our difficulties at once, we can be ok. One thing at a time; be Kind to Ourselves, and its not so overwhelming. This goes for ALL OF US, YOU AND ME - but I do wish I could see the screen properly!!!!!!!!!! :-0

And while I have my dreams, vision, goals - the outcome may be quite different. The same is true for you too.

So, I need to reiterate this point throughout this site, to keep reminding us all, because we must never forget this if we are to succeed - What is most important (aside from our 'tools') is the key ingredient - 'me' (and You). Our desires, dreams, persistence and determination. Our mindsets. Our planning and our actions. We must PLAN and we must ACT.

If we do not implement our plans by ACTION, then our businesses will simply remain dreams.

So, this is a journey for all of us, step by step. Just one little step leads to Momentum. Another step. And another. And soon, we will look back and wonder at how much we have achieved. This also relates to 'daily habitual goals', which is an Article I posted earlier. I really suggest you re-read this to keep the momentum going - to ensure that our Dreams Become Our Reality! :-)

Improve Your Site Design, Increase Conversion & Improve Planning-Organisation

Not only does this membership provide training in website design, to increase conversion rates and to add members/optins/purchasers (ie. your 'call to action' - whatever the aim of your website is), this membership also helps in the overall site planning process, and getting you organised in a 'systematic' manner (video training session 4 - see below).

I have only just joined this membership site, but the more I explore and learn via the online video and audio tutorials, the more impressed I have become in terms of both the quality and quantity there at the free level (in fact, I am 'multi-tasking' now and writing this post, then moving back to PixelsToProfits to view more - and then I add more here!).

I have nearly finished exploring the site, and from what I have listened to and seen so far, I think that this site is going to be one of my most valued ones, especially as a key planning tool. It simply provides such great value for a free membership, with the opportunity to upgrade too (which I may just do).

Thus, I do recommend this membership - especially given that there is no risk, being free. There is a lot of quality in there, too much to summarise here.

In terms of organisation though (which I desperately need to improve upon) - well, while I am writing this post here, in my 'muli-tasking' mode[!], I have implemented one of the lessons and created a template for a 'Site Creation Notes' Text File - in which I can put all the details and information I need when setting up a new site (and this can be used for product creation too).

All information can now be centralised so I don't waste time hunting down items and important information for my new sites (in particular, watch training video number 4 about 'organisation'). It also helps you with your folders for settiong up your sites. This is basic information to some, but to the relative newcomer, this information is gold, as I discovered (I have wasted much time due to a lack of, or a poor records management policy for my computer and hard copy notes/filing).

In fact, the value you receive in the free training sessions (both quantity and quality) is actually better than some paid sites. So I suggest you have a look for yourself, and especially view the short video on the join/signup page which reveals exactly what you will receive when you join.

If you want to upgrade to a paid level - remember, join free first to see what you are receiving and please - purchase this ONLY if you really NEED it (ie. its essential for your online business to move forward), and/or you have the RESOURCES to do so.

[SIDE NOTE: - AHHHHHH - on a more personal note, please excuse me - here is a lesson for us all! - I had just written some more great info. about this site, especially about the video training you receive - and Blogger, which supposedly 'automatically saves your posts now', redirected me to another site and when I returned 'back', my post was gone. Fortunately, some of my post was left - but all that work gone.

Why do I write this here you may ask? Well, this is a valuable lesson. If you also have a Blog like this one - make sure that you always save your posts constantly, and do it yourself so that you do not lose it!!!!!!! (do this for anything you create). I am soooooo annoyed.

Always try to make a positive out of a negative :-)

And another lesson re: using Blogger - try to upload or add any images before you write your post - because everytime you upload an image, your formatting often goes a little astray, which is another time-waster!

Anyway, I am not going to even try to reproduce what I wrote because I cannot remember what text was lost (although I do have to try and reformat everything as Blogger has decided to format things differently for me - very kind of you, thankyou!

So - just remember these lessons - upload any images/graphics before you write your post (and before you change to 'edit html' mode when adding code, in order to avoid any formatting issues and ALWAYS SAVE YOUR WORK ON A CONSTANT BASIS - hee hee ;-]

- EMAIL PROMOS EXPOSED (free and paid options)

Have you ever been faced with the task of having to write an email promotion to your list, and then realised that you didn't know what to say or how to say it - then this is a great membership to help solve this problem, which you now have rights to.

Whenever you're teaching people how to do something, it's essential to establish your credibility up front, so that there's no doubt about whether or not you're qualified to talk about the subject. Many product developers either skip or minimize this step.

VIDEO 2 - Before You Write Your Promo Email

This video talks about some things that few marketers have mentioned. Things you will learn include:

* The mindset you need in order to write a 'killer promo'
* The different tools you need before you get started
* How to keep your emails laser-focused
* How to create an outline that practically writes the email for you.

Always remember - what is the aim of your email campaign in the first place? Often people start their emails well, but when it comes time to ask the reader to click the link and take action, they don't know what to say. Michael talks about some of his favorite techniques for making that happen, and also reveals:

* The "magic question" to ask yourself that will make your close much more powerful.
* The secret of the "unanswered question" and why handling this is a surefire way to get people to act right away.
* The structure of a powerful close.
* Mistakes people make when creating their close.

VIDEO 7 - Creating an Effective P.S. in your Email

I really like and recommend these short videos, because they showed me some mistakes that I wasn't even aware of. Unless you're highly experienced at this, you're probably guilty of some of the things that Michael talks about in this video as well, and that's why it's so valuable. Now we can avoid these costly mistakes too.

Many courses like this are not as good, because they don't actually show you 'how' to do things. Instead, they just tell you that you need to do this. ! I have watched the videos once, but intend to watch them again, and again, until its 'drummed' in to my head and to make sure that I have all of the techniques, principles and tactics I need to know for my own email campaigns.

As you know, email marketing is an important part of your business (THE MONEY IS IN THE QUALITY, TARGETTED LIST' as they always say, and its true). You really need to maintain a targeted and loyal subscriber base, for which you can provide both quality information, and sell your products to (or affiliate products).

You don't need a Large list. You need a 'responsive and targetted list'. Even small lists which are targetted and relevant to your sites can make you more profit and credibility than larger lists. They also offer the potential for you to get to know your customers and members on a more personal basis, which is also great. Far better than being viewed as a 'distant and inaccessible' person.

I wanted to provide a summary of part of this site's purpose for people venturing into, or experiencing the online world of business, whether or not you have your own original product[s] to sell, or you are in the 'Resell Rights/Affiliate' Online Business world - plus some information about the dangers of buying products online for your business and what to avoid, especially if you are relatively new to this area

(This rather lengthy 'mismash'[!} posting is just as a reminder for return visitors, and to let new visitors know, given that the original 'welcome' is archived away).

I truly hope that you will find value here - you will understand if you read further

As you may know if you have been here before (or just in case this is your first visit), I have a great Free "Goodies Basket Policy' to provide a 'Portal' of resources and information for you, just to thank you for being here and to help build this community as it grows :-) (I have the same policy on my other sites too, including my Self Help Blog).

This policy, in addition to posting Articles, is to help you (and me!) in our online ventures. I absolutely love the challenge of hunting down Free Ebooks, Software, videos, and Free access to Membership sites with, for instance, audios and videos relating to Web2.0 Marketing and other topics, ..... membership products to help you get launched and ready to go, .....and Resell Rights and Private Label Rights Memberships.

(I know some IMs hate this 'web2.0 term', but no matter what it is called - its such a fantastic resource for you and a great place to meet people, learn how to create videos, market your own products and much much more - there is so much to learn! So many sites out there now and millions upon millions of visitors).

As you may also know, I also recommend paid products and memberships which I think are truly worthwhile (and am aiming to setup a separate site for you so that you can feel safe in revewing what you are buying or becoming involved in first - no unexpected surprises!).

To avoid losing resources, we need to know exactly whatwe are getting before we buy anything online and whether or not we can trust the product or person selling the product. Some sites out there already do this form of review, but not enough, nor to the degree I will be aiming for. Nonetheless,I will find the bookmarks for these review sites for additional support (althouh note that some sites may be a little biased in their reviews of friend's or 'JV partner products', and care still needs to be taken, but not all are like this).

This product review/recommendation process is also important because product detail is key in this respect. If there is not enough detail, just be cautious. I have found that some sales pages sometimes don't provide enough detail about what you are getting, or even the price (the emphasis is sometimes more on a product's 'benefits', and while these 'benefits' are extremely important in writing good sales copy, I think that a balance between both product 'features' and 'benefits' is essential).

It is thus sometimes 'pot-luck' in terms of the value you may (or may not) receive, after parting with your precious resources as I have discovered on occasion. Also, if you have the time to search online, like I do at the moment, you can often find that product, or similiar, for free, especially in JV Giveaways, which I will inform you about too (there are quite a few going on now, which I must be quick about, or they may have ended - but they are quite common now).

Thankfully though, more sites are now starting to demonstrate their products using video and other forms of demonstrations (if it is truly a quality product). There are also so many great membership sites around that I cannot hope to cover them all (and others, which are not so great, and which are to be avoided, being just 'rehashes' of sometimes poor and outdated content which is shared by 1,000s of competitors). Remember, your reputation is your 'life' online - and you don't want to provide poor quality.

So, if this helps in any way (especially if you are relatively new online), some of the best examples I have recommended so far, include, for instance: 1Click (an all in one business solution), the Software Gold Club (I will find the link for you, or you can do a search - absolutely fantastic value for your own instant Private Label Software site!), plus ..... Resell It for Profit at www.resellitforprofit.com (by Mike B.), and SureFireWealth at: www.SureFireWealth.com (by Jeremy G.) among others (both of these latter ones have free levels and provide exceptional quality)....

Also, the 1click membership, run by Todd Moss, not only provides quality resell and private label products, but absolutely everything you need to run your own business which will save you hundreds of dollars a year (ie. no need for separate webhosting, unlimited autoresponders, ad-tracking accounts, website builders, website management centers, training, and more - its all included and the price is absolutely incredible!).

I made a recommendation for 1Click in an earlier posting and there is a link to the site in the right menu below if interested (Note that the 1Click Site may popup once you exit from here - please do let me know if this annoys you upon return visits, and I will remove it and just keep the link in the right menu bar).

There are others I will certainly recommend over time, at the free level and add as links in the right menu bar (but I will not review paid memberships which I am not involved in of course, and my choices are very selective, or lucky if you happen to chance upon a special invitation to join as a 'paid' member) :-)

(there is already a fantastic private label rights membership link there now, plus a site I just discovered, which has an online tool which enables you to actually download videos from many web2.0 places such as 'You Tube'. Viewing at these sites is usually restricted to online streaming video, which can be a problem for people with only dial-up internet, but please note that it only downloads flash files I think).

Of course, many of the free membership sites, downloads, or free ecourses/ezines, also have OTOs and upsells to become a paid member (if you see the value there), and some do go through my own affiliate link, but not all, as my aim is to provide value, whether or not it may benefit me or not. I just get joy knowing that I may be able to help in some small way, although eventually I will be selling other products on my other sites when all are ready to go.

So, this helps me feel balanced in this respect - to give and to receive.

In my own learning process, I am also creating audio ebooks for you for free, just for readers, as the 'listening' experience is so much more pleasant than straining your eyes all the time (if you don't mind my voice of course, which will gradually get more professional over time!!) - I have started doing this at my Self Help Blog - and will be posting a great one up there in the next week or so (eg "Self Improvement: The Power" which is also highly relevant to the all-important mindset needed for persisting in your online business - absolutely one of the most important factors) ... :-)

'How May I Serve' is a saying I once read relating to Internet Marketing, which has stuck with me - always consider the other person first. Remember, they are looking for information, something specific. Not something you want to 'sell'. People often avoid the 'sales pitch' - 'uh oh, here it comes'.... Always provide value - your reputation depends on it. Your customers will remember you for it and begin to trust you, which again is especially important in today's online world where there can be some rather unscrupulous creatures, sometimes difficult to spot.

So always be careful (and try to avoid those sales pages where there are no contact details, unless you know the person - for example - who do you contact if something goes wrong in the payment process, or if you lose the product, or if the person is not 'real'??).

Anyway, the feeling of giving like I can do on this Blog, to balance out the 'selling' part, is great, as you will discover for yourself (or already have done so) :-) (you might understand a little more if you visit my Self Help Blog too - just click on my full profile, and it should show all of my Blogs (some of which need updating).

So - the choice is always yours despite what I may recommend. But please remember too, especially if you are only just starting out in the 'online business world', only to spend resources on what you think is 'essential' to your business, .... buy what you can afford, not what you 'want'. And think of it as an 'investment', not a 'loss' in this respect. While setting up an online business is certainly cheaper than traditional 'bricks and mortar' businesses, it does require some investment, despite what some may say. And this can sometimes be more than you expect over time.

If you are relatively new online, also remember that some sales copy is so good that it leaves you with the feeling that you absolutely must have the product or you will fail! (I have fallen into this trap myself) - and only spend or 'invest' more when you are earning money, which you will if you keep on going, ....... never give up in your persistence, and then you will have more freedom in this area.

Always - earn before you 'burn'! And, always reinvest some of your earnings back into your business too.

Anyway, all of the free Goodies I have collected for you are bookmarked and are ready and waiting to be included in the 'Goodies Basket" - I don't want to overwhelm you with them all at once and will one day compile them all into a 'resources directory', just for my readers for free (and in the hope that you will come back too - my little 'bribe'!) :-)

No, I'm only kidding! I truly want to build a strong community here where we can share experiences and make friends, possible joint ventures and even trade products where we can. Its not so easy on the internet these days and the 'big guys' are really starting to take over. Time is running out compared to a few years ago, with so many more people venturing online each day.

So one of the most important things to our success, besides the 'list' and products of course, are the people we meet online and how we can support each other in our ventures. I have made some very special friends, which has provided much-valued mutual benefit (both friendship and business-related). And I feel so very blessed to have met these people, whom are truly special - you know who you are :-)

Article Writing a Pain? "Content Composer" Software

Hi all :-)

Whilst MiniSites are great for selling products with resell rights, its also great to have full sites, especially for generating traffic and attracting the search engines. As you probably know in this respect: 'Content is King'.

But having to write all of that content can be a chore! So today, I have a recommendation about, what appears to be, great software in terms of content delivery, writing Articles, rewriting private label rights articles and lots of video and training sessions/workbooks.

Its quite a high-end priced item and I have not yet bought it, so I cannot in full honesty give you a full review yet. But I have some idea of its value just from the Blog, which launched the software, including bonuses you will receive (without even buying the software), and all the Testimonials from the Beta version (see details below).

The creator, Jason Potash, is also well-known for generating fantastic and reliable products, including 'Article Announcer'. I also discovered his site and software through my membership at 'SureFireWealth', which is one of the best Resell Rights Memberships you can find. So I trust their judgments too (its owned by Jeremy G. who partners with Simon Hodgkinson for the Marketing Main Event series, which I will post about shortly I hope).

'Content Composer'

This is not just another typical 'article spinner/generator' which rewrites your software - many other types of article rewriters (not all) don't do the best of jobs, are complicated, sometimes don't fully work, or worse, can get you banned from the search engines (so be careful what you do, or choose to use, if you are using article writing both as a traffic generator and for content on your websites).

The 'content composer', article content software uses white hat techniques and has some very powerful features indeed, including a feature to check for plaguarism and duplicate content within the software itself, amongst many other things. In fact, there are so many features, it is too hard to describe them all here.... So.....

I spent quite awhile there, exploring and becoming more impressed as I went (which is why I intend to, hopefully, get this software when I can, if I can afford it at some stage). Discover the Seven Dollar Secret

Would you like to know a 'secret'(!) to more effectively make money from home with ebooks and resell rights products online? Well, today I have a recommendation for a relatively short, but great report (33pp), which provides quite a unique system to achieve this....

But just in case, here is the link to a free Website Builder which comes highly recommended, and which I use (I have, however, had some minor problems with it, but it does what you need it to, and the bugs may relate to the memory and speed of my computer, given that I am often running several programs at once!). Its the NVU webeditor at: http://www.nvu.com or http://nvu.com (I think the first link is the correct one)

I also recently found an even better WYSIWYGWebsiteBuilder, which I am very excited abut, and which I am definitely going to buy after trying it out. It is essentially more flexible and powerful than a very popular one, which costs $197, whereas this one costs only about $35.00 with lots of plugins and templates!! If you have a look at the webpage which sells this software, it was built using the software - and the site looks great!

Not only that, like the more expensive software, this one has automatic ecommerce tools (eg PayPal) and will automatically create links to your webpages, using a content management system, inbuilt (so you can also keep track of all your webpages and full websites within the software in a similiar manner to the more expensive software) - and this 'linking' task is one of the hardest ones, well at least I found it hard - which is why I also loved the other more expensive software, because it is so automated in this respect.

So, just Left Click Here in case you are interested (there is also a trial download so you can try and decide before you buy). You can also download the free website templates and other graphics and FTP software while you are there. AND - there are lots of online tutorials and a Forum to help answer any questions - (it also handles plugin scripts, audio, video and more) !

You Tube Traffic Video Series

Hi again :-)

Well - another video series for you this time - and surprise, suprise! They are about Web2.0 Marketing and Getting Traffic to your You Tube videos. The videos are quite good in content and will certainly help if you are promoting your resell rights products there or on other Web2.0 sites (although be careful of their strict policies about direct marketing!).

And remember - this is very important. This may upset some people (I do apologise), but a lot of marketers are now selling memberships to video training sites, which show you exactly the same techniques (or similiar) - or selling ebooks. Some are great value, which I have bought because they truly are unique and you won't find them on sites like You Tube. Others ...hmmm.

But MOST IMPORTANTLY - YOU CAN GET A LOT OF THIS CONTENT/VIDEOS FOR FREE ON SITES LIKE YOU TUBE. Not all, but enough to get you going! :-)

Its up to you of course and if you don't have the time (and do have the resources), certainly buy the quality products - if resources are an issue, there are some good quality products on this topic for free.

But do also remember this......

- always do your research before you buy a membership or product.

As you can tell by this site, this research, before buying anying, is effective, as most of the "Goodies" I am bringing to you are free (or products I own rights to and want to give, rather than sell for now)

Anyway, as you can guess, Web2.0 marketing is my focus for the moment, but I will bring some more information and Goodies relating directly to the Resell Rights Business soon too!

You will also find other videos created by this 'Director' and can subscribe to his video casts, with other series relating to 'You Tube for Dummies' for example (although to subscribe to video casts, you do need to become a member first and create an account - I suggest creating a 'Director's account in case you want to market and upload your own videos eventually, or you may already be doing so!).

NOTE: if you have a problem signing up (like I did - it kept coming up with an error) - just keep trying because I eventually succeeded. I think its because the site has such high traffic that bandwidth becomes an issue, with possibe server errors, but I'm not sure. Just keep trying as You Tube is really one of the better sites of the Web2.0 sites - of which there are LOTS!!!! I will provide a list for you soon, as noted.

History & Use of Web2.0 Video

Hi again!

Working, working, working - addicted to the computer - have I slept??

Quick posting today (I always tend to say that and it ends up rather long!) - but really, today is short - uuumm! :-)

I just wanted to share with you a video from Google Videos about the history and uses of Web2.0 style of internet use. Also, about how the 'term' was developed.

While IMs (internet marketers) are now starting to make more use of Web2.0, some sites are instilling strict policies about direct product marketing - but there are ways around this!! As noted in previous postings, web2.0 type websites were originally aimed at social networking, rather than internet marketing. Its explained more in the video.

Later, if you are interested in marketing your resell rights products on web2.0, I will provide you with a listing of sites that will host your videos (and also upload some software for you to create your own vides - in addition to the free movie makers built into your computers).

Lets hope the video works!! (again, dialup users will have problems - and if your broadband connection is slow - it may be a good idea to let the video load fully and then play).

Today I just have a little something special by bringing you a video about internet marketing with Mike Filsaime (one of my informal 'mentor's and someone I have high respect for - HI MIKE - TRYING TO CONTACT YOU!!!) - and Brad Fallon, who is has been described as a forward thinker.

The only reason I didn't rate both content and delivery a 5, is because in my view it would have been better to have broken the two topics into two separate videos. Otherwise, great job.

Well worth watching for people at all stages of their business, unless perhaps they're already in the multi-millionaire category. And the final 30 minutes is worth watching twice (for everyone)!

Very Time Worthy

I've been learning/studying net marketing for a year now, literally all day every day (I'm fortunate to be able to be a home working artist who's wanting to take my works 'net-wide' and so I've been working on setting up) It's been very time consuming keeping up with the like 500 newsletters, e-courses, etc (and Brad's is one), I save all info to my desktop and move on to the next email, seldom watching the videos because they take too much time all at once.

Needless to say, my time is VERY important to me...as I'm sure yours is too. I want to express my sincere gratitude Brad, for all that you've taught me this year...

AND for this video! AND for this site! I want to be a part of it, I am a part of it now, even tho mostly I'm figuring out how to make affiliate links to your site and knowledge as much as possible.

Soon, as my health improves, this site (and my other blog sites) are probably going to be moved to a main domain and will be promoted more. The aim is to have a wonderfully, supportive community for people dealing in the Resell Rights Business online, with the use of more multimedia products to make your 'stay'here more pleasant (at least I hope so!).

It is true that some people may view those of us who are working (struggling!) within the Resell Rights area as competitors, but I have found over the last year or so that 'meeting' people online and joining together (eg for joint ventures, mutual benefits) can have much more value.

Support, mentoring, the creation of 'inner circles' can actually have significant effects on the success (or otherwise) of your business. As you probably know, this is a difficult area to 'stand out' in, and we would be extremely lucky to become rich overnight!!

So I just wanted to re-emphasise the aims of this site in building such a community, sharing ideas, showcasing our sites (but of course we don't have to reveal all our secrets!!) :-)

Anyway - to the point(!) - today I have a presie/ebook for you in the "Goodies Basket".

If you have read some of the earlier postings on this site, you will note that much of the information is not 'planned' per se, but is rather a 'mish-mash'(!) of information, articles and free goodies, software, ebooks and more.

Online video and audio for your Resell Rights business again(!!) :-)

As you may be able to tell by now, I have become increasingly interested in the use of Audio and Videos for my online sites, especially for Resell sites and for Blogging! I still need to learn more, but I haven't had a chance, but will do so soon (very exciting when it works!!).

So, today, I have a Free Vlogging (online video blog) Tutorial for you :-)

No article again (soon I promise), as today is another quick posting to show you this presie before I'm off to hospital yet again - oh joy! Hopefully I won't be away for long, because, of course(!), I want you to come back and find some more 'Goodies' and info :-)

As you may have read, I have made a few postings below about 'Web2.0' style of marketing (relatively new concept for IMs) and the great value in using multimedia (audio-video) to help you sell your resell products (this can also be used for other niches, or any type of website, not just the resell rights business).

A lot of IMs (internet marketer's) are now 'cashing' in on this 'latest craze' as I thought would happen, and many people are selling video tutorials on how you can create your own video tutorials!

(there are also lots of other video tutorials on other subjects of course, but the rate of tutorials on this topic of using multimedia on your websites and/or for marketing is incredible).

BUT BEFORE YOU SPEND YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY - please don't buy anything yet, for, as said, I have a link below in the "Goodies Basket" to a Free Vlogging Tutorial!! Great huh!? :-)

You don't have to use this tutorial for blogging/videoblogging (vblogging), because it also teaches you how to use the free software on your computer to create your own videos (on any topic/for any purpose), and compress them, and get them ready to upload to your site (if you have one) - or perhaps to one of the 'myspace' type of sites (or 'youtube.com').

It is also tailored to BOTH PC users (i.e. Windows Movie Maker) AND Apple users (which uses a different, but similar type of movie-making software).

I also have a number of ebooks related to multimedia on the web and how to do this, which as said, I will upload for you when I get a chance (free only for my special readers :-) I will try to do this when I get out of hospital for you - so please don't spend too much on these products....

AND - please don't listen to some websites which state that you will fail if you don't follow this new 'multimedia web2.0 trend'. I have seen some sites like this and they scared the 'wits out of me'!! Oh no, I thought - over a year learning about IM and now I have to start again!! Please - don't believe everything you read; don't get caught out.

But it is still good to keep up with the trends as noted below - and if you are interested, to learn how to put audio and video on your sites/blogs, or the 'web2.0' type sites (see below).

Hi all :-D

This is a very quick posting, with 1) a quick bit of advice (this advice is perhaps a little bit obvious, but we need to be reminded sometimes!!) - and 2) a site you have to see with some fantastic videos and audios with one of the top Business Coaches in the world, Rich Schefren.

...Sometimes, you may find when starting or maintaining an online business, you can 'burn out', perhaps your initial enthusiasm and motivation may have diminished and you wonder why. You may even feel like giving up (especially if you are also dealing with an illness or other difficulty in your life).

Remember always in this case, if this ever happens to you (its happened to me!) - You will NEED some time for yourself, a 'breather'. To get back your motivation. Take a break. Relax and enjoy other things in life. The internet is not Everything.

When you have had this time, this 'refresher', then it is highly probable that your motivation will have returned, perhaps even more!

So, please don't forget to 'Stop and Smell the Roses' from time to time? :-)

PPS - and yes, in response to someone's comment (see comments below) - Web2.0 type sites are turning into primarily a new form of 'marketing' whereas I think when it started, the intention was for people to meet, share online, have some fun, etc. It still is of course, but more and more marketers are getting 'wind' of this new opportunity - and this is when 'marketing' will start to take-over. Lots of products are now being sold about this opportunity and the value of multimedia.

But note also, care needs to be taken because some sites, such as Google videos and MySpace I think, are starting to ban posts/accounts which are blatantly obvious in terms of 'marketing' products or services. They are catching on too!! :-0

Without the "Secrets" of Web2, You May Be a Casualty of another dotcom crash!

Hi all

Long time no 'speak'! The reason why is on my other site here, but I won't bore you with the details - excuses, excuses!! :-)

Anyway, I am 'discovering' the new era of internet marketing, which is essentially referred to as 'Web2.0'. I even read somewhere that there may be another dot.com crash, as was the case at the beginning of this century, where many small and large businesses crashed.

So it is ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL to keep up with the times with Web2.0 to avoid this (although don't believe everything you read!).

I really didn't know what Web2.0 was, even though I found references to it here and there (and I may have got a little behind the times during my wonderful, joyful hospital visits!!).

Web2 is the 'new' web form of interactivity rather than traditional forms of web searching and internet marketing, including 'static' websites. Web2 also primarily uses multimedia - i.e. online (often amateur) video and audio productions, which can be shared in communities.

Some marketers are catching on to this very quickly now (and I think that Jimmy Brown was one of the first to create an online multimedia ezine last year - "IgottaTellYou").

Importantly, 100s of millions of users (not just internet marketers), are already accessing this Web2 style (in fact, one site has been rated as one of the top 5 sites in the world). And, while multimedia presentations have been around for quite awhile now (eg. online audio/video), the focus is really turning more and more towards this - and that is what Web2 is all about, including social bookmarking and myspace, where people can interact more easily.

Web2 also includes blogging by the way (and video blogging, otherwise known as vblogging).

Interactivity and multimedia are key! So don't fall behind the times, please!

At first, I didn't really want to know about Web2 - not something else to learn - groan!!! But now, I am sooo excited about these new opportunities. Web2 is great for generating greater trust between you and your customers, or for simply meeting new people online with similar interests. Best of all - in most cases, it is a FREE form of marketing potential!

Essentially, multimedia is the way to go for marketing your online businesses now, and there are already so many Web2-style sites up, which can be utilised for this - but many marketers still do not know much about this option, or if they do, they are not revealing this 'secret'!!

This new era of multimedia marketing has really inspired me - I have become re-motivated and, as noted, I am excited. Thus, I have been searching high and low for products and tools to help me achieve this - both for marketing (my own products and affiliate products), and for creating my own multimedia products (which can be hosted on a lot of free sites, such as myspace.com, or youtube.com (I think it is - will check this for you later). BTW - if you check out eBay, you can find some references to this - I just bought an ebook about YouTube Traffic, which also included CamStudio Internet Marketer's Version, with Master Resell Rights, for only &1.99 (I really should not be endorsing the cheaper sales on ebay, but if your resources are an issue, I thought this might be of help).

Another great place to start is at www.camstudiopro, which is an even more advanced version of Camstudio software, where you can create your own PC Videos and convert them into flash files which can be embedded into your website, or to other free hosts, such as my space or youtube. You can get the 'free' version of course, but this has some significant restrictions, which you will see if you go to the CamStudioPro website - and the great thing is, its only $29.95 and does many of the same things as the more professional Camtasia, which is priced at nearly $300!

Another great software tool to check out, although a tad more expensive is www.flvproducer.com FLV Producer also converts your videos for the web, but it has a much greater and more impressive range of video player interfaces and is also not restricted by 'frame rates', or length of movie I think[?] - .flv is the newest form for flash players, rather than .swf files, which is what is produced by CamStudioPro - but they both work - it really depends on what you want

Here are some screenshots of the software - looks quite easy! Also below is one of the player interfaces you receive - this is the 'standard' player.

NOTE - there is also a 'lite' version of flvproducer available if resources are an issue at this stage - and you can get that by Clicking here. I hope this is the right link, otherwise you are going to hate me!!

(However, I suggest you go to the main FlvProducer site first to read what the software is all about and how it works - also if you go to the end of the sale page, right down the bottom is a link if you are 'undecided', which will redirect you to some Video Tutorials on how FLV producer actually works, which is a bonus!)

Another great site to check out is www.TotalWebAudio for streamling audio and creating viral audio ebooks - while there are many audio creators already out there (and you may have some), this one has some great interfaces, with lots of single and multi-track players, including rewind and forward buttons and lots of colour options. Most audio creators only have one or three buttons, play, pause and stop, and are very basic). BTW - these are not my affiliate links, not yet anyway!! :-)

I will make more posts about this new 'Web2.0' era of marketing and socialising on the internet, especially for small online business people like us! I will also be reviewing some great software tools, focussing on PC (sorry MAC users), which are very cheap compared to the more professional versions, although they do just about the same things!

I have many of these tools myself, and once I have fully learned how to use them, and reviewed them, if they are useful, I will post them to my other websites (perhaps even create some of my own video tutorials on how they work for you, if I can find the time).

Have you ever heard of Liz Tomey? "Tomey Marketing" is her company name.

She is great and she is a fast worker indeed (I have just been watching one of her PCVideos and 'boy' is she a fast worker). She ACTS, She DOES and is not just a Dreamer - so she is one to watch! Liz is spreading her name and her reputation around the net at a rapid pace. She is also one of the few women out there, almost at 'guru' status, although many don't like that term anymore.

A note of caution though - This is certainly not to denigrate Liz in anyway - what she does is great with her network of sites (all designed to help you in your own businesses). But she also loves to work with PLR rights and readily admits this (eg. she has another site - originaleproducts or similiar, which provides a membership for PLR products). So even though I love to model/watch her sites, etc.... I am careful about buying some of the original products - question - are they are sometimes 'revamped PLR products'.?? If so, the value you receive for these particular products, depends on how much work Liz puts into changing them.

In this regard, you will need to judge for yourself, as I haven't seen many of them - the value offered again, depends on how much Liz changes the original PLR to make it her 'own' product, so you don't waste your money buying the same product somewhere else without realising it (that is one of the major dangers of PLR Right products .....

- so be wary of products you buy in this day and age of the internet with the 'hot' nature of PLR products!!) - ie. other people selling the same PLR product, but just with a different title and grapics, etc.

Anyway, I am getting off the point, again! ;-)

This is absolutely fantastic! I saw this software a long time ago, but lost it when I went to buy it. AHHH - I was so annoyed at myself.

Hi all :-)

Long time no speak again!! Today, I have a recommendation for you about a great membership site, not to be missed!!! But first..... I must apologise - excuses, excuses, excuses!!

I have probably had just about the worst year of my life - in fact the amount of things which have happened, well - rather than being 'victim', I just have to LAUGH!!! :-D

Because they border on the absolute ridiculous! How can sooooo many things happen - eg my most trusted friend and neighbour tried to kill me - yes! kill me on Friday by pushing me up against the wall and strangling me until I couldn't speak and my face blew up like a balloon!

Thankfully he snapped out of it, but I called the police of course. I could either charge him (which I didn't want to do), or lock myself away in my house for awhile....great choice over Christmas hmmmm!!

BUT - I am not going to let this get me down. After an initial period of shock, I am back and CHOOSING to be positive and forward looking :-)

My other excuse - my illness got progressively worse until I was an invalid in bed for 2 months and if I hadn't got to the hospital, I would be dead by now - so in a way, I consider myself lucky

I was in hospital, under Crisis Care twice, with blood transfusions, poking, prodding, forthcoming surgery, etc.... for a month. But they let me 'out' for Xmas - Yahoo :-) Anyway, enough of my rantings .... we all have our hard luck stories and I will be making some statements and some lessons learned on my other Blog - "Selfhelp4Growth".

I am not going to write an Article today, but to make up for my absence (once again!!!), I am going to fill my 'Gifts Basket' so that it is overflowing with Goodies for you in my next posting soon! :-D

Hi All

Oh dear - I have been away for awhile! I do apologise, but I was hit with the dreaded flu and am still recovering! I seem to be catching them all this winter, here in 'down-under'!

I was also, I must admit, becoming a little disillusioned with the internet - I think I was suffering from information overload, which is a common 'affliction' and one I am sure you will suffer from at some stage (unless you are incredibly lucky, organised and systematic in all that you do!) :-)

But just keep on going. Have a little break for awhile. Do something completely different - get away from the computer for awhile ("smell the roses") - and stop looking for that 'magic fix' - the 'answer', jumping from one scheme to another!.

Try and focus when you come back. Make your decisions. What is your goal[s]? How are you going to get there. What is your Action Plan? Your Prelaunch Schedule and Approach? I will discuss more on this later..... but more importantly.....

FINISH a project BEFORE starting your other projects! You might have lots of great ideas, but if you spread all your time across them all, when will you finish? Will you just become disillusioned? Try and Succeed at one thing first and then move on. Practice, practice, test, test, and learn! And you won't go wrong - wellll.... maybe you will, but you will LEARN and you will eventually (if you really want it!), build your own online 'empire' :-)

But I digress for now!

Anyway, as I am still feeling a little yuk(!), this is just a quick posting to let you know that there is another Resell Membership Site available, with resell rights ebooks and software for you to download. It has different subscription levels, but there is a free option available and the quality there is still great, as far as I can remember. Five Ways To Maximize Profit In Resale Rights Marketing

Product creation is usually one of the first concerns of an internet marketer. Conceptualizing a profitable idea and formulating a marketing plan to sell it is a relatively exhausting task. Not everyone is gifted with the creative juices to come up with a cutting edge concept.

Fortunately, there’s resale rights marketing.

Many internet marketers actually sell their created products either because they have squeezed them dry of all possible earning potentials, or they feel that they’ll earn more by selling the master rights to the same. This has paved the way for resale rights marketing, which is an ingenious method of making profit out of others’ works.

Think of it first in the point of view of the creator. He’d come up with an e-book that he feels is worth $60. But his sales would depend on the success of his marketing campaign. What if he’d sell the master rights for the e-book instead to a hundred of his fellow marketers for $25 each? He’ll earn an instant $2500, which is a surer profit than the uncertainties involved if he decides to market his e-book himself.

Now, let’s look at it in the point of view of the resale rights marketer. He’d buy the master rights for $25. Granted that he’d share the same with 99 other people, the internet has a population of 50 million surfers at any given time. Surely the ratio does not convert to saturation of any target market.

Additionally, the resale rights marketer can repackage the product in so many ways that would seem novel and distinct from how it was marketed originally, or how the other master rights holders would market it.

It is important to note that there are two kinds of resale rights. First, we have the master resale rights that grant you, basically, every right the owner has, or had. Second, we have the limited resale rights, which carry with it certain conditions depending on the license.

Here are five options that a resale rights marketer can use to maximize the potentials of any products he plans to resell.

Re-brand, repackage, resell. If the resale rights marketer holds the master rights to the product, he could name himself as the author, change a few things here and there, and sell the product as something new.

Buy and sell. The resale rights marketer can also partake of the most fundamental principle of profit: buy low, sell high. In our illustration, the resale rights marketer bought the master rights to the product for $25. He could sell the same master rights for a higher amount. Or better yet, he could sell the product itself to many interested buyers at a price that he would deem sustainable and reasonable. Imagine if he succeeds on selling the product to 90 people for $10 each. That’s $900 from a $25 investment!

Divide and distribute. The resale rights marketer can also divide the product into several components, and sell or use them individually. An e-book, for example, can be broken down to a series of articles which can be used as auto-responders, e-zine content, or chapters for other e-books.

Use it as a freebie. If the resale rights marketer holds the master rights to the product or is otherwise allowed by the license, he could bundle it with another one to increase the latter’s value and justify a higher selling price. Or he could use the product as a freebie in a viral marketing campaign he is employing.

Have it auctioned. If the resale rights marketer holds the master rights to the product or is otherwise allowed by the license, he could have the product auctioned to the highest bidder. This would allow him to earn more than what he originally paid for!

There are many other ways by which the resale rights marketer can earn through this trade.

The possibilities are only limited by your imagination!

What a find! And by pure chance!! I have always wanted a tool like this and was even going to purchase one, but was waiting because of its high price tag. But this one is all that I need for now (I still may buy the other one later as, while both are as powerful as each other, the other does have more functions - I will report back on that one later).

Timing in Resell Rights is Everything!

My sincerest apologies for my absence, but my Aunt just died of brain cancer. So, I am picking myself up off of the floor! :-(

But I am here to distract myself from despair and present you with an Article about the importance of "timing" in the Resell Rights Business.

Advanced marketers know this - but for less advanced people, this information is essential. If you are only just starting out, this information, which may seem obvious later, may not occur to you now, as you focus on your marketing, and setting up your resell packages, etc.

Remember that timing is everything!

But also remember this nifty tid-bit for high-quality resell products! A lot of marketers will eventually realise that the market has been oversaturated with a product and 'drop it' because they may not be making any sales - they will turn to another product, without realising the value they were already selling - patience! ...........

As a result, there will be less competition. And - if you continue to sell this product, as others discontinue it - you will become one of the primary sources, especially for people just starting out in the Resell Rights Business - now you are more advanced - don't forget where you started - the complete 'newbie' who has just begun their online 'journey', will have very little knowledge about the types of resell products around and their history.

This is especially significant if the product you are selling is high quality and does not have a 'shelf-life' (ie. it is a 'classic', or 'timeless', or will continue to be relevant, despite changes in trends in the internet marketing world).

So there are really two ways of looking at 'timing' in the Resell Rights Business:

Be quick, be first and beat market saturation! and
If a high-quality, 'timeless' product, have patience - leave your sales site up.... and wait it out! And you may just begin to see some sales trickling in! :0)

Master Resale Rights - Timing Is Everything.

Owning Master resale rights products is one of the many ways that you can make money without having to put in any time or effort in producing a product, researching the market and producing a killer sales letter.

But there is a downside to resale rights, which many people who see resell rights products as their ticket to financial freedom don't realise. Timing is everything!

Here's a scenario that is played out day after day by hundreds of people.

You want to start making money on the Internet. You use the search engines to research what is selling, and find through reports and articles that master resell rights products are a great way to make money, as people want information or time-saving tools and are willing to pay for that information or software.

You decide to buy a master resell rights product, one that comes with an awesome per-written sales letter page. You download the product and the sales page.

You buy web hosting, you make the necessary changes to the sales page and upload it. All is set.

You then go about promoting that product, either through your own list (if you have one), or through paid advertising (you want to make money quickly).

You have spent your advertising budget and your costs are mounting. You see no sales. Hmmm.
You think, "well I have read that it can take up to 7 mails before people will buy", so you send out further emails or buy more advertising.

Sales are slow, and you get some refund requests. What is going on? Why am I not getting the sales that were illustrated in the original sales letter that I read.

The answer, timing is everything!

Being a newbie, you haven't had the experience to realise that this product has been about for some time. The product has already been oversold by either the original author and his/her affiliates or other people who bought the resale rights when the product was first released.

The thing with master resale rights products, and the way to make them pay for themselves quickly, is to be amongst the first to promote them.

How do you do that?

Most producers of master resale rights products, will promote their latest product to their own list or affiliates first, as they know that these people are more likely to buy the product than the perfect stranger who has had no previous relationship with the author.

So why not sign-up to their newsletter or join their affiliate program (they are usually free to join).

If they have a membership site that is within your budget, join it. Again, members will be the first to know about new products.

While others are slow to take up the opportunity, those in the know will be making good money with new release products.

Get yourself in the know!

You can't do without this Great Software Tool!

I was in the process of writing a rather convoluted Article for you -"Trends in 2006 and the Truth about Article Marketing", but its late at night (here in 'Aussie down under'!) and I have been working since 4am with only a short break, so I will save it for next time :)

Instead, I just had to share this free software tool with you. I use it everyday - I don't know what I would do without it. In fact, when I recently bought a new computer, I was devastated when I realised that I had forgotten where I got the software from, so I could not transfer it to the new computer. But I found it! oh JOY! :-)

Some of you may have heard of it and use it yourself - its similar to the software tool 'screencapture', but even better! Plus it comes with an associated 'viewer and image editor'.

The tools are "FastStone ScreenCapture" combined with "FastStone Image Viewer". Both are freeware.

So for the "Goodies Basket" today, you can receive two great tools. Once you learn how to use them, you will love them - they are great for capturing parts of webpages as images, or parts of ebooks which you can't print or copy from - and for creating your own product - and lots more! I still haven't explored the full potential of either of these tools yet!

(nb: when you launch the screencapture program after installation, the picture of an 'eye' will come up on your screen (and some 'tips' which you can read, then close) - if you right click in the middle of the eye, a menu will drop down with a number of options for you - the same is the case when you are viewing an image you click on, or have 'captured' - just right click and all your options for editing, resizing, copying and saving, etc, will pop up!).

But then again, there are also some great ones out there too - I think I have just about all of them and I will gradually provide you with a copy of the best ones, as long as I am permitted by resell licenses :-)

With that said:

Have you heard that approximately 90% of People Fail Online?

DON'T LET THAT GET IN YOUR WAY!

You have probably heard by now that approximately 90% of people fail in making a living online. Forget that negative beginning right now - it leaves you prone to either giving up, or to becoming more susceptible to some unscruplous marketers out there, eagerly awaiting your money - yes, its true, they do exist, but not all are like this (there are some truly generous people out there)!!!

To be blunt - you will fail of course, if you give up. And you will experience some failures along the way (I have). You will experience some delays before you start seeing your hard work pay off.

But - if you keep picking yourself up; if you keep going regardless, eventually and hopefully, things will start to turn around. Yes, there is a lot of competition out there, but you know - much of this competition will drop out. They give up too easily when they don't find a 'get rich quick scheme'. There is no such thing, unless you are incredibly lucky.

That's another thing to remember - if it sounds to good to be true, it usually is. And never, ever fall for the - 'if you don't buy me, you will fail' ploy' - they are playing on your emotions and creating a sense of 'urgency' (this is the power of 'killer sales copy'). There are lots of sources of free information out there. It just takes a little more effort to find it, but you will save yourself a lot of money. And - if you come to sites like this one and other similar resell sites, you will find some great tips too (and freebies!) :-)

So don't despair if you are worried, paralysed or not yet seeing any results. Or - if you are worried about starting even. If this business was easy, wouldn't everyone be doing it?? Wouldn't there be a higher success rate?? In a nutshell, there really are no 'secrets' to success; just educate yourself wisely and work hard at it. There are simple step formulas out there to guide you, and your knowledge will slowly accumulate until one day, you no longer feel like the 'newbie' on that first day online when you discovered the potential of the Resell Rights business.

With Resell Rights - you have your own product; you earn 100% of the profits (unlike affiliate programs where you earn a percentage). It saves you from creating your own product and most Resell products come with ready-made sales letters and graphics - all you have to do is some minor edits and upload it to your webhost! And there are some great web editors out there (I made an earlier posting with some recommendations for both free and paid web editors/creators if you are interested). If you are not sure about webhosts, etc - Edmund's book will tell you more, as will I in future postings.

But one quick tip for now - be sure to make your offer as unique as possible when selling a Resell product[s] - offer your own 'twist' and personality to make it stand out in the crowd; add some great bonuses; change the look and layout of the sales letter if you are permitted. There are lots of things you can do - which we will look at later (this is what is called your USP - "Unique Selling Position" and I have studied many of them!!).

Essentially though - success takes hard work and perserverance to begin with (but the rewards will come in many cases and are well worth this effort) - it initially lots of patience and discipline! But if you have the passion, the desire and the will never to give up - then your chances are much greater in succeeding at earning money from home, especially in the Resell Rights Business! I highly recommend reading the Ebook: "Think Rich and Grow Rich" in this regard. I will provide you a free copy in the next posting hopefully :-)

SO - DON'T GIVE UP! There is a saying: "Fall Down Seven Times; Get Up Eight". You can do it, if you really want it :-)

Developing an Opportunity Mindset

Stay positive and focused on your home business continually reminding yourself of your purpose. What ever we focus on becomes our reality. Continually focus on where you want to be and that is the direction you will go.

I have also made a full recommendation for another website, not a 'resell rights' site, but a valuable resource (see after the "Goodies Basket").

If you are in the Resell Rights Business, or even if you are not, but spend a lot of time downloading Ebooks, Ereports, manuals and so on, you need a way to keep them organised. Otherwise they will just, as they say, collect 'digital dust' on your computer and clutter up your hard drive (and slow it down in the process!).

KEEPING ORGANISED is one of the keys to being successful online. I know, I know, the last thing we want to do is remember to catch up on 'admin' and records-keeping, but it truly is essential. I have learned my lesson, and because I delayed, this resulted in a lot more work than it would have if I had started properly and maintained my records. ahhhh!

Anyway, I have a great piece of software for you today, which will help you organise all of your ebooks, etc - 'EbookLibrarian'. It truly is fantastic, especially for freeware software. Plus, if you want to upgrade to a more complex version, the price is incredibly affordable and you can do this from the page I send you to.

If you do upgrade, the version you might buy is designed specifically for 'resellers' and 'affiliates' - and no longer will you lose your records - you can find everything from one central location!! You will always know what you need and where it is, including all your products (eg ebooks), graphics for your webpages, your URLs, prices, payment processing codes, account information, etc. But you can read about this when you get to the website!!

The other bonus of upgrading, is that Neil, the owner of this site (and he truly is a trustworthy and wonderful person), will brand you a copy of the free version of 'EbookLibrarian'. He is branding me a version as we speak! Thus, once you have provided Neil with the details of your website, company and a short message, you can provide it to your subscribers or customers as a bonus. Whenever the software is opened, the name of your company or website and a short message will appear. Great huh!?

EbookLibrarian, Word Templates for writing your own Ebooks with some great graphics, his own Ebooks), and Design Services (eg. designer for Ebooks, Webpages, Software and now, his own specialised webhosting package for ebook sellers and information producers/marketers - see below).

Oh dear! - I am beginning to sound like a 'salesperson'! I think I am just really in 'love' with this product (and no, I am not an affiliate to this product!). Also, Neil, the creator of this software, was one of the first people I 'met' in the online world and he truly is a friendly man, with integrity and generousity. He is one of those 'success' stories that you don't hear about, quietly going about his business and making his living online.

He is a true inspiration if ever you get to know him. He certainly inspired me :)

Resellers & Creators Beware! Protect Yourselves

But I just had to post this article by Jim Edwards first - its not a happy topic for resellers and it is one which I have suspected for some time now, after having purchased extremely 'cheap' resell ebooks and software packages on Ebay (this is where 'price undercutting' occurs and products are devalued quickly). Such packages can go for as little as $1.00 or higher, but always cheaper than the original product selling on its own website (eg. the same product may be selling for $47 or even $97!!).

How can you possibly beat this?

It is simply not fair on the original product creators or authorised resellers, but more importantly, it is illegal - as you will discover in the article below.

Ah yes, eBay! The online auction giant that makes all your dreams come true for finding that special something you can't find anywhere else.

It's like a giant garage sale in the sky.

Unfortunately, eBay's size makes it easy for people to sell stolen or unauthorized merchandise and not get caught.

To their credit, I think eBay does as much as humanly possible to police their site and shut down any offenders quickly.

However, I recently discovered that plenty of mischief still occurs, especially with downloadable products.

When checking my email yesterday, I found two messages that disturbed me. The first was an automated message from eBay telling me about an auction selling an ebook about writing ebooks. Another email came in from a good customer who sent me a link to another auction on eBay that, to them, "looked suspicious."

I clicked on the links for both auctions and found identical postings by two different sellers. Though they did not mention my ebook, "How To Write and Publish Your Own eBook... in as little as 7 Days," the blatant similarity between the wording on the auctions and my http://www.7dayebook.com/ website aroused my curiosity.

Since they didn't reference the ebook they were selling by title, I decided to go ahead and buy from both sellers to see what they sent me.

Imagine my horror when they both delivered my own ebook, which they were selling illegally.

I immediately got the auctions shut down, but the damage was already done.

Plenty of stolen merchandise gets sold via online auctionsites. People call it "bootlegged" or "unauthorized copies" to soften the wording for what they really know is "stolen merchandise."

Of the two sellers mentioned above, I believe one knew he was illegally selling my ebook and didn't care, while the other person was just ignorant and thought she could sell it because she'd bought it from someone else. Regardless oftheir true intentions, their actions were illegal.

Now, let's discuss how you protect yourself and your intellectual property against illegal sales and "bootlegging" on eBay and other online auction sites.

First, set up automated searches on the major online auctionservices. Set them up to automatically notify you whenever an auction gets posted that includes your name or the name of your product. You can also set them up to email you whenever an auction gets listed with certain keywords in it, in my case "write ebook."

Second, if you find someone has stolen your intellectual property (sales copy, ebooks, photos, graphics, software, etc.) you should first contact the seller and politely, but firmly, ask them to remove it. If they don't, or if they take more than a few hours to respond, you should contact the auction site directly to request an immediate take down of the offending auction.

eBay's "Vero" program, for example, enables you to simply fax in a form or send an email to get an auction removed. You should also go back and check periodically to make sure that an offending seller doesn't start selling your product again once they think the uproar has died down.

Third, pay attention to emails from customers and prospects for signs of anything strange. Watch for comments like "I saw your ebook for sale on eBay,"or "I saw it cheaper on eBay."

Also, make sure to compare customer service inquiries to your customer database.

Anyone who asks specific questions about a product and appears to possess it, but never bought it from you, should immediately raise a red flag.

Always try to find out where they bought the product and get them to send you a copy of their email receipt, because all roads to the thief usually lead back through the credit card processor.

Finally, trust the never-failing boomerang of karma to come full circle and ultimately whack any thief in the head!

Like others have done (see comments to this original article above) - I too have reported a few Reseller sites on Ebay for potential 'fraud' and copyright piracy (or 'bootlegging')- but nothing was done about it. In fact, I heard nothing back from Ebay, not even to acknowledge that they had received my message! I wonder why, given Jim's success in getting Ebay to stop the resellers in their tracks!! Apparently, not all messages to Ebay are as successful.

This is despite their policies to protect against this type of behaviour - hence my surprise and arising suspicions. Is Ebay really designed for the 'buyer' rather than 'sellers' as I am beginning to read more frequently? Is Ebay really all that it is 'cracked up to be'? I don't know - I have only read reports by others.

Yes - Ebay is a great place to buy things cheaply, but for the digital Resell Rights Business, this truly is a hard area to 'police' as Jim notes.

But as noted, there are increasing numbers of reports by other people, against Ebay's lack of enforcement of its own policies; and again, some such reports refer to Ebay's increasingly biased nature towards the 'buyers' - this is where the market and audience is of course! This is where their millions of customers and suscribers come from. Of course, they have to support the 'seller' to provide incentives for the 'buyers', but again, reports indicate that the 'buyers' are starting to come first. I wonder.....

I have not yet formed an opinion - so please, make your own opinion (don't base it on my own readings or 'hearsay').

A suggestion - (and as Jim also did), if you are going to report possible fraud or 'bootlegging' to Ebay in regard to the resell industry (especially for digital products), try contacting the reseller first to advise them (you can do this anonymously) - because they may simply be ignorant of what they are doing (as opposed to those who are intentionally breaking the law).

This is was I did - I thought it best to provide them with advice before a formal report was submitted, to give them a chance. Yet there again, I would receive no response, nor a change to their auctions or online stores! My suspicions arose once again! Hence, my 'fraud' postings to Ebay, although with no results.

Will this stop? As said, if you go to the original article by Jim on his Blog, and see the 'comments', you will discover that other resellers have had the same problem, and despite reporting this to Ebay, nothing has been done about it, in my case for instance. This highlights the problems of policing this issue.

This unethical and sometimes illegal practice is also why people in the Resell Rights Business have to sell their 'new' products as soon as possible to:

1) beat market saturation
2) to win the war against 'thieves' (yes, thieves) and
3) to attempt to 'outrace price 'undercutters' on Ebay and other auctions.

In fact, one Ebay reseller whom I have purchased items from (thinking they were 'above board'), has even set up a separate website of her own (outside of Ebay) - and is selling the same, or similar resell products for only a slightly higher price. Yet even with this higher price, one of the ebooks she is selling is set at approximately $8.00.

This is despite the fact that this ebook is relatively new and is selling from between $67-$97 by the creator or 'authorised' resellers. Imagine my horror at this. This really does pose a threat to those people in the Resell Rights business who operate their business in an ethical manner and adhere to all conditions.

Thus, something needs to be done about this! - and we can get together and make a more formal approach to Ebay about this practice - just perhaps, something may stop this practice. We can only hope.

Stopping this behaviour will help to provide many benefits, particularly in reducing the devaluation of resell products, as a result of people selling them on Ebay for a 'pittance'!!

I recently had the fortune to 'meet' in cyberspace(!) one of the most professional and friendly people, who also owns a Resell Rights Membership site, and also, after having had this privilege, I quickly became a member to his "IntrepidScriptScource" site. I was so impressed by both his customer service and his membersite, I had to write a quick note.

I don't make a habit of recommending any particular site or package, as this is all about everybody having an equal chance to 'showcase' their product or site.

But this one is at the 'cutting edge', and I know when I discover an exciting opportunity!

Moreover, he is of similar mind in that we can help to support each other and learn from each other/gain from each other!!

The resell rights business is changing direction again!!! Last year, the 'hot topic' was 'niche' products (and still is), but there is an increasing emphasis on private label products and audio/video resell products. Sites are 'popping up everywhere' and very quickly too!!

We have to keep up or we will be left behind and the speed of this new trend is incredible!

So, if you are not already there, I suggest you get involved as soon as you can to keep at the front!!

The IntrepidScriptSourceMembership site is at the 'high-end' and is one of the first membersites created, as the above new trends were emerging!. Here - you will not receive all the 'same old, same old' materials that just about everyone has. So you have to expect a slightly higher price than other membersites which all seem to have the same products - but the benefits are ongoing, with new products frequently added, even though you only pay once!!

Today's "Goodies Basket"

Today's "Goody Basket" provides you with a FREE and excellent online PC Video Tutorial on how to create a a Website.

It also contains recommendations, and links, to both paid and free website creators for you too select from if you need one, or more (it depends on the purpose of the site[s] you are building!)

WebSite Creation: Online PC Video

If you are starting out or don't know the basics of creating a website, Today's "Goodies Basket" presents you with a free online PC Video Tutorial on creating a website - this one is excellent and plays for 22 minutes! For example, it shows you each step to create a website template, even folder management, creating tables, menus, navigation, graphics and header insertions, and creating a contact form page, amongst many things!

While this video was created to sell the 123 WysiWyg Easy WebSite Creator, it is one of the best short PC Video tutorials I have seen in creating a mini website template. Many others Video Tutorials you have to pay for, whilst others tend to gloss over key areas. And this one is free for 22 minutes! There is a link on the page to take you to the actual Sales Page (special offer of $97 with usual price of $147 - I don't know how long this will last).

Even if you don't buy this software, the tutorial is applicable to most WYSISYG Website Creators out there (for 'newbies' - WYSIWYG = "What You See Is What You Get" - so you don't have to know special programming language).

Recommendations:

However, if you need to purchase a website creator, I suggest doing some research before you buy if you decide this option, as it depends on the purpose of your website[s], plus there are other web creators which are cheaper and do much the same thing (with less power and functions though); and others which are $50 more, but which are extremely powerful, such as XSite Pro, which I use.

Sales Letter in a Box:

If you just need to create a sales page for a resell product (eg one did not come with one of your resell products), I strongly recommend Russell Brunson's Sales Letter in a Box. This is one of the best ones out there, of many. Writing effective ad copy can be difficult, and hiring a copywriter is very expensive, and with this one you can write an excellent sales letter by simply filling in the blanks, plus more features than other sales letter generators!

It has sales page templates and an excellent user-interface with menus to select from in generating your sales page (unlike others which just take you through a question/answer process with no menu selection or templates). Plus it generates your payment page processers, popup windows, metagags and autolaw policy links (eg privacy policy). Other sales letter generators may also be limited to a particular type of payment processer such as ClickBank, whereas this one is flexible. ProfitSitePro:

Another one I strongly recommend for the Resell Business is ProfitSitePro and which I am just about to buy. ProfitSitePro is only $37.00! - and it has the same features as the above 123 WysiWyg. It has a Sales Page Creator, Download Page Creator, Home Site Page Creator (as a portal for all your products). It creates links to all your sales pages and download pages; it creates an About Us page, a Links Page and more. To enable flexibility, it also has a WYSIWYG editor and HTML View (unlike standard sales page generators).

Click Here to take to you to the Sale Page for ProfitSitePro and decide then. There are lots of screen shots to make your decision easier. If you do want just a more straightforward sales page generator, again, I recommend 'Sales Letter in a Box'.

Don't buy other 'Standard' Sales Letter Generators until you see these ones! -

XSitePro:

But if you are looking for something more powerful, with a different purpose (eg creating lots of niche websites with lots of content), I also recommend XSitePro - the emphasis is on your 'empire' of 'money-makers'. Left Click Here for XSitePro, which also has a video demonstration, albeit much shorter and focuses on the key reasons to buy (dial up users may have some problems viewing this video) - but it is very powerful as a project and content manager, and it enables you to create automatic sales pages (with inbuilt templates), navigation links, affiliates pages, article pages and so on. Also has an inbuilt FTP - upload to your website.

The emphasis of XSitePro is on the power of duplication and once you learn all the functions (400 page manual and 100 page tutorial provided) - you can have an 'empire' of websites!! There is an entire community forum dedicated to this software, which you can also check out - there are some 'bugs' but it is frequently upgraded and you get all updates for free.

But unless you know a bit about HTML and webdesign, the only letdown is that many websites created look much the same, and the menu seems to be restricted (while you can position it anywhere, I think it is restricted to a particular text format, unless you know some HTML and can insert your own menu style, although this may affect the links automatically created for you).

The other great thing about this software is that it is designed for both 'newbies' and advanced webmasters, with the ability for viewing the HTML source code and modifying it as you like.

I have yet to fully test it - I have only 'played around', but will go through the tutorial step by step (all webtemplates and hosting provided for you to undertake this tutorial to create a full website from scratch). There is a learning curve, but once learnt, you can apparently build one or two full websites in a day! Imagine the power of having multiple niche sites.

The emphasis is also on search engine optimisation and it will check all your key words (even generate new webpages based on a keyword!), plus it focuses on 'Content'! You can create minisites, or full websites with 100+ pages! But I am still not sure if it is worth paying this high price (my computer memory is a little low for this software), particularly when you can get ProfitSitePro for much cheaper (although it is not as powerful) - again, it depends on the purpose of your website! There is little risk though as there is a 1 year refund guarantee.

I will let you know more once I have finished the tutorial and created another website!

There are also some great FREEBIE Web Editors much the same, in fact, with even more power than the above 123 version, such as NVU which is an excellent one and is one which I use!. Left Click here to download NVU and Left Click Here for the NVU UserGuide and link to Home Page for a description of NVU - it really is excellent! You can even copy/paste your predesigned sales pages (provided with resell products) for editing into this software. You can't do this with many other website creators as they will only recognise files created by its own software! It also has a detailed online userguide and tutorials.

Perhaps try this free, yet powerful one, before you decide to buy an expensive one? Or try ProfitSitePro. I must admit I was frustrated, because I had already purchased a number of the other standard 'sales page creators' and then found the more powerful ones above. But that is the 'nature of the game' on the internet!!

Remember, it depends on the purpose of your website and you may need or want different styles of website creators for each of those purposes - if you intend on building 'multiple streams of income'.

In providing this place for Resellers to embrace each other's knowledge and to showcase our products and/or sites, I realise that we may initially view each other as competition; this place with skepticism? Or as a source for our own Resell Stock (who can get in first for the new products! - its a race out there!). But why don't we learn and support each other instead?

Following on from my earlier postings - I truly believe in the importance of sharing our knowledge and becoming part of an exclusive Reseller's Community, where we can all learn even more 'tricks of the trade' - to build upon our existing knowledge.

The more people that post here, the more knowledge we gain, because each site has their own unique style and approach (or USP). The more possibilities and advantages we gain from this knowledge; the Greater the Power of Leverage!

In addition to Showcasing your Products and/or Websites, what else could we do??

How about a "Reseller's Exchange"?
"Case Study Central"?
"Success Modelling"? What Business Models work best?
"Articles Central"? Articles written by us all - we could even start our own 'Articles Directory' based solely on the "Reseller's Business Niche"! As you know, most articles are generally about internet marketing, or other niche areas (eg gardening, crafts, self help), or general business/webdesign and so on. In comparison, there are relatively few articles which focus directly on the online Resell Industry.

........ 'swaps', joint ventures, reciprocal links, perhaps resell access to each others' sites? I know many of you are already doing some of these things - but let's draw it all together!

The possibilities are only limited to our imaginations! We can learn to work together; support each other. As you know, this and joint ventures are some of the key ingredients for Success!

Imagine the power of Leverage when we all join together. We never stop learning' hence the importance of "Success Modellling"! As they say - the 'more we know, the more we know about how much we don't know'!!

Competition can also be good for us - it 'keeps us on our toes'!

An Online generator - "Mission Statement". Many 'bricks and 'mortar' business have their own Company Mission Statements, outlining their company values, visions and aims. I see that many internet business do not. Its a great idea for better customer service, in providing further information and in generating greater trust.

Well, here we are - its nearly time; this is the nearly the Start! The arrival of a new member site: "Resellers Delight" is near!

This place (or WeBlOG) has been created to support the PreLaunch phase of my new "Resellers Delight" site, in which I will ever so gradually release the details of its Visions, Products, Services and the "WIIFM" concept! (WIIFM is a prase used by Mike Filsaime; an internet success and expert or 'guru' as we like to call them!).

WIIFM = "What's In It For Me". There are soooooooo many Resell Sites out there already - so why is one more special; how can there be a WIIFM??

We shall wait and see?! "-)
